ACTS is a nonprofit organization which provides employment and other professional services to businesses and provides employment and career training to single parents in the Metro Atlanta area. ACTS mission is to remove any and all barriers that would prevent or delay our candidates from becoming employed rather that barrier be lack of skills, low self esteem; lack of child care; lack of interviewing skills, or a daunting past; we provide practical and spiritual support to all of our candidates.  Furthermore we work to break the cycle of poverty that many of our clients face.  ACTS services, now are a small investment in comparison to the cost of ignoring the problem of unemployment and the influence it has on a number of health and crime issues.

The heart of ACTS:

• Spiritual Support: Deals head on with the issues that may be inwardly preventing our candidates from becoming employed.
• Job Placement: Places well qualified candidates into jobs that can meet their financial needs.

In addition to single parents, ACTS also provides assistance to persons with disabilities, Grandparents raising their grandchildren and teens and young adults of single family homes.
